Situated on Mangerton Road in Drimnagh, this residence faced the challenge of two previous extensions that, despite being well-finished individually, left the house feeling dark and dull due to an oversight in their combined impact.

To remedy this, a small extension was strategically built, with the primary focus on transforming the roof space. Three large roof lights were artfully placed, introducing abundant daylight and infusing a fresh, bright ambiance into the existing structure.

The existing kitchen was salvaged and refitted, preserving its essence while aligning with the rejuvenated aesthetic. A pivotal addition to this transformation was the installation of an Alcore roof, contributing not only to the structural integrity but also enhancing the overall architectural appeal.

The project at Mangerton Road reflects a thoughtful approach to harmonizing existing structures, prioritizing natural light infusion, and breathing new life into the living spaces, ultimately creating a residence that balances functionality with a luminous and inviting atmosphere.
